Cora “Corky” Auten passed away September 9, 2010 in Manteca, CA at the age of 72. She was born October 15, 1937 in Illinois to Steve and Dorothy Parchomski.

She worked most of her life as an artist and a small business owner of Corky’s Creations. She served on the Advisory Board for the Manteca Senior Center, was a Trips and Tours volunteer, also she was a member of the Artist Guild and Historical Society. In her spare time Corky enjoyed arts and crafts and would travel anytime, anywhere.

She was the devoted wife to the late Gene Auten and loving mother to Mary Jayne Brocchini, Joe and D.D. Villarreal and Steven Auten. Caring grandmother to Tony and Samantha Hein, Jason Brocchini, Taylor Seeger, Cady Villarreal, Brandon Auten, Andrew Auten, Michael Auten and Ashley Auten. Cherised great grandmother to Hannah Ryan Hein.
