“Certifying the Primary Election ahead of schedule reflects the strength and coordination of our elections team,” said Registrar of Voters Olivia Hale.
“From initial ballot intake to final tabulation, every step was carried out with care, accuracy, transparency, and a strong sense of responsibility to the public. We appreciate the dedication of our staff and election workers, and we thank San Joaquin County voters for their continued engagement in the democratic process.”
The longer count is a direct result of the process needed to verify votes are being cast by legitimate registered voters before the can be counted.
With the certification of the results of the 2026 Statewide Primary Election complete, the Registrar of Voters will present the certified results to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, June 30.
