Jacklyn P. Kerling was born and raised in the city she loved, San Francisco. She moved to Manteca 28 years ago. She retired from Klix Chemical where she retired after 35 years as a production worker.

Jackie is survived by her brother, Pat Quinn of Chorpus Christi, Texas; her four daughters, Teresa Olsen, Deborah Cloud, Cathy Powers and Tamera Ramirez all of Manteca; also her three step-sons, Butch III, Lenny and Jim Kerling; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Another very special person in Jackie’s life was her former husband Butch Kerling; they remained best friends through her entire life.

Jackie enjoyed a variety of things including camping, pool parties, barbecues and drinking with her family and life-long friends. Jackie liked traveling and going to the casinos and, of course, she had an extensive collection of SF 49er memorabilia. She enjoyed watching the news, Judge Judy and Dr. Phil; Jackie also loved tending her house plants and garden and doing crossword puzzles. Jackie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life barbecue will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 1 p.m. Please join us in sharing memories of Jackie as we celebrate her life.
