Linda Louise Henke passed away Aug. 13, 2010 in Merced. She was 63.

She was born  on June 8, 1947 in French Camp.

Linda lived in Merced for a year and was a resident of Manteca off and on most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Henke on June 15, 2005.

Louise is survived by children Casey Henke of Manteca and Dion Henke of Manteca; grandchildren Casey Henke of Manteca and Mercedes Henke of Stockton; aunt Priscilla Wright of Manteca; and cousins Rose White Medford of Manteca and Jack White of Escalon.

Linda’s greatest joy was being a grandmother. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.  She was a very outgoing, loving, thoughtful, and generous and a loyal person to everyone whether they were family, friends, or acquaintances.  She enjoyed the spring and summer months where she would work outside gardening her red roses. She had a flair for interior design and decorating.  Linda also loved to travel. She was planning a cross country trip to New York.  She was always prepared for anything in life whether it was expected or unexpected, she never let anything get her down.  We are going to miss her warm smile.

We will miss you and love you forever-your smile, your hugs, your love.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11 a.m. at PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.  Final resting place is private.

Remembrance donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
