Michael Bennett Fannin, formerly of Manteca, passed away on September 1, 2010 in Modesto at the age of 68.  Michael B., the oldest of 11 children, was born in Kentucky, and lived in Manteca for nearly 25 years.  He is survived by his oldest son James Fannin, youngest son Jon Fannin, his two granddaughters, Haylee & Allyson and his entire Fannin Family in Ohio.  He was a dedicated veteran who earned the Bronze Star & Purple Heart during his tour in Vietnam.  Michael B. was a loving father and grandfather and he will be dearly missed.  

Michael’s memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 10, at 5 p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to VFW, PO Box 604, Ripon CA 95366.  Condolences to the family can be made at www.deeganfuneralchapels.com
