Tom (Ted) Buck McCraw, 82, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Livermore. Ted was born Jan. 8, 1928 to Joel Buck McCraw and Opal Ruby Major-McCraw, in Burnett, Texas. He was the second oldest of nine children. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He lived in Manteca and worked as a truck driver in the San Joaquin Valley for most of his life.

He is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Deborah and John Mattos of Modesto and Roseanna and George Leopold of Mason City, Iowa; along with his grandchildren, Paul, Miranda, Zachary and Ryan and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Harrison and Jocelyn.

He will be remembered by all those who knew him and loved him.

Arrangements have been made through Park View Cemetery in Manteca.
