Ripon’s girls golf team is well on its way to repeating as Valley Foothill League North Division champion after another convincing win over second-place Escalon on Thursday.
The undefeated Indians won 159-184 at Jack Tone Golf Course, padding their lead after winning the mid-season tournament earlier in the week.
Low medalist Gabbi Ilardi continued her tear through league competition, finishing 1-over 32. She was the only VFL North player to score under par in the mid-season event at Manteca Park Golf Course on Monday with a 71.
Runner-up Katie Martin added a 38, Anna Fisher a 44 and Vivian Parsons a 45. Escalon was led by Lucy Allbaugh’s 39.

The Timberwolves’ trip to Tracy was a short one thanks to their dominant effort.
Caitlin Morrow dispatched Kate Blumenfeld 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles match. Victoria Zellner (6-1, 6-1), Tanya Sharma (6-0, 6-1), Brisa Gonzalez (6-1, 6-1), Sidney Pham (6-2, 6-0) and Maryn Peterson (6-0, 6-1) were just as dominant in their singles wins.
Doubles matches were won by Amber Garza/Simran Dosanjh (6-0, 6-2), Grace Langenfeld/Navleen Dosanjh (6-0, 6-0) and Jaden Alton/Alessia Manetti (6-0, 6-0).
