STOCKTON (AP) -- Brett Siddall hit two home runs and drove in five runs, as the Stockton Ports defeated the Modesto Nuts 11-1 on Thursday.
The home runs by Siddall, both solo shots, came in the fifth off Pablo Lopez and in the eighth off Art Warren. Skye Bolt homered and doubled, scoring three runs in the win.
Stockton right-hander Angel Duno (6-3) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing one run on five hits over six innings. Opposing starter Lopez (3-7) took the loss in the California League game after allowing five runs and six hits over 5 2/3 innings.
