A homeless summit designed to share what the City of Manteca is doing to address homeless issues takes place Thursday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. at the Manteca Transit Center, 220 Moffat Blvd.
Details will be shared on resources available to the homeless such as medical care, behavioral health, and assistance from non-profits as well as public agencies.
The summit also will highlight ways the community can help.
A question and answer period led by Manteca Police officers Mike Kelly and Matthew Smith — who are assigned to homeless issues – will also take place.
You can attend in-person, via Facebook live or by webinar. Details are on the front page of the city’s website. For those unable to attend, the presentation will be recorded and later posted on the city’s Facebook page.
