The Ripon Unified, like all school districts, is on high alert with the current corona virus scare.
"It's safety first," said Superintendent Ziggy Robeson during her report to the school board on Monday. "We are going forward with our educational instructions."
She said RUSD is working closely with the San Joaquin County Office of Education and SJC Public Health Department on this possible major health threat.
"We've taking precaution," added Robeson, pointing at the bottles of hand sanitizers placed in areas of the Council Chambers.
RUSD is doing due diligence by thoroughly cleaning classrooms, buses, etc., according to Robeson.
Updates on this matter will be posted on the district website at www.riponusd.net.
